Alianza por la Solidaridad, a member of ActionAid, aims to achieve an active citizenship that fights against inequalities and for the recognition of human rights. It carries out development cooperation and education projects to eradicate gender-based violence, migrants’ rights and for climate justice. Join us at our office in Bolivia! As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to explore project management in a supportive environment — contributing to activities such as helping prepare reports, gathering information, connecting with partner organisations and donors, and supporting fundraising initiatives.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
You'll live with other people but in an individual bedroom. The accommodation costs, utility bills and phone card will be covered by the organization. The house will be located close to the office. You will receive a monthly allowance of 639,63€ for your personal expenses including food (topic specified in the interview). For the activities of Alianza, a vehicle will be provided. You will also be covered with health insurance (Henner). During this experience, the volunteer will be based in the town of La Paz where the office is located. You may be deployed if needed for brief missions.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
You will provide support to the country coordination and technical and economic teams of the office for: fundraising actions, communication with donors and partners, design of new projects, technical and economic follow-up/ monitoring of projects, and support in project evaluation. You will also coordinate the accompaniment of local partners for adequate accountability based on funders’ regulations and national regulations; you will participate in project articulation spaces and in coordination spaces with external consultants. Lastly you will assist in related administrative tasks.
Profil uczestnika
We are looking for someone motivated and enthusiastic, preferably with previous experience related to the position. The following skills will be positively valued: good writing skills, sensitivity, knowledge of Microsoft office, ability to work in teams and to adapt to the country’s context as well as to different work environments. Fluency in English and Spanish will also be highly valued. To cover this position, the person will need to be available for a duration of 10 months.
