At Domi darželis kindergarten in Antazavė, Lithuania, volunteers will join teachers to create an inspiring, play-based learning environment for young children. They will support outdoor and nature-based education, help organise creative workshops, and promote ecological awareness and intercultural learning. The activity aims to foster children’s curiosity, creativity, and respect for nature while strengthening community bonds and European solidarity.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Volunteers will live in comfortable housing near the kindergarten, equipped with all essentials. Full meals will be provided daily. Local public transport is easily accessible, and a car may be available if needed for project-related travel. All arrangements meet European Solidarity Corps standards for comfort and safety.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
Volunteers will receive orientation and ongoing mentoring from staff. They will learn about early childhood education methods, environmental and creative learning, and intercultural communication. Additional online training through the European Solidarity Corps platform and Youthpass reflection sessions will support their personal and professional development.
Teilnehmerprofil
We are looking for motivated, open-minded, and creative young people who enjoy spending time with children and learning through play and nature. No previous experience or specific education is required — enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to engage are what matter most. Volunteers should be ready to participate actively in daily kindergarten life, support outdoor and art activities, and share their culture with children and the community.
