Opis
Hotels School of the Canary Islands (HECANSA) is a company attached to the Ministry of Tourism and Employment of the Government of the Canary Islands that offers Dual Vocational Training, with hotel establishments and restaurants that offer a real learning escenario. We allow students to train through the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge, applied from the first day with clients and in real scenarios.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
The volunteers will be living in the student´s residence of our Hotel Schools and will have all the menus included in the hotel.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
ESC@HECANSA 2025 will be held mainly in our 2 main buildings, the Hotel Escuela Santa Brígida (Gran Canaria) and the Hotel Escuela Santa Cruz (Tenerife). Volunteers will help in various departments of the hotel-school (housekeeping, Food and Beverage department, reception, reservations, revenue, hotel management, events, etc) to understand the hotel and the tourism sector. Adicionally, the volunters will assist the educational department wuth language classes organizing speaking lessons using non-formal aducation methods.
Profil uczestnika
We are looking for volunteers from European Union countries who have training or experience in the hospitality and tourism sector, or who, even without this background, show a high level of motivation to develop in this area. A minimum B1 level of Spanish (spoken and written) is required. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and be part of an international environment in the tourism industry.
