The project aims to bring together young people from European countries and local youth in our club, offering them the opportunity to build friendships and experience an intercultural learning atmosphere. Through various sports activities, we aim to reduce prejudice and promote the spirit of peaceful cohabitation. Sports will be used as a tool to support personal development, teamwork, and unity. The project also seeks to increase awareness of sports culture by providing an environment where individuals can meet their needs for achievement and learn to work as a team. During activities, children's addiction to digital devices will be reduced, helping them socialize, control themselves, and develop self-discipline. At the same time, volunteers will be supported in their personal and psychological development, gaining skills such as mutual understanding, solidarity, cooperation, and the ability to work in an organized and harmonious way. Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
Volunteers will stay in a fully equipped, comfortable apartment with a terrace in the city center, shared with other ESC volunteers. The apartment is located near public transportation, shopping malls, and daily amenities. It includes internet, TV, washing and dishwashing machines. Volunteers will receive accommodation, food, and pocket money. Flight tickets will be covered according to the distance from their home country, within the budget limits. Transportation expenses for project-related activities and tournaments will also be provided.
Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα
The volunteers will be involved in the standard ESC training cycle. We believe that our volunteers will develop themselves in the following subjects within the scope of the project; Children's Rights, child protection, Olympic values, sports education with games, culture-sensitive psychology, reflection and feedback in education, right-based approach, intercultural learning, leadership development, conflict resolution, crisis management, using sports equipment, individual sports skills, Turkish / English speaking skills. A Youthpass certificate will be provided.
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
Highly motivated youngsters between the ages of 18 to 30, interested or addicted to technological devices BUT WILLING TO GET RID OF THEM, ready to get friends with the local and refugee youth/kids, open to learning from different sides, and ready to teach different perspectives, interested with sports or have a potential to get interested, loved to be in an intercultural learning environment and willing to learn Turkish language and culture ready to teach own culture as well. Open-minded and flexible, ready to work as an individual or in different teams.
