Description

Alianza por la Solidaridad, a member of ActionAid, promotes active citizenship in the fight against inequalities and the advancement of human rights. The organization implements development cooperation and educational initiatives aimed at ending gender-based violence, protecting migrants’ rights, and advancing climate justice. Join us at our office in Bogotá. The volunteer will contribute to the design and development of visual identity manuals, protocols, brochures, graphic materials for social media and other platforms, as well as reports and editorial products. They will also support institutional communication activities, including drafting and adapting content, creating digital campaigns, managing and updating online channels, assisting with video editing, and gathering information to produce communication and outreach materials.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will have the opportunity to live with other people but with individual bedroom. The accommodation costs and utility bills will be covered by the organization and a phone card will be provided. The house will be located close to the office. You will receive a monthly allowance of 607,98€ for your personal expenses, including food and local transport. For the activities of Alianza, a vehicle will be provided. You will also be covered with a health insurance (Henner).

Training during the activity

You will receive comprehensive pre-deployment training in line with our induction framework, including induction to our organization and the ESC Program, roles and responsibilities, Youthpass and Henner insurance, Code of Conduct, SHEA and safeguarding policies, feminist leadership, security, finance, communication, psychological support and self-care. In the field, you will receive security and project-specific training. By the end of your volunteering period, you will have gained practical experience working within a multidisciplinary team in a humanitarian context.

Participant profile

Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite or other design and communication tools. Ability to support the creation of materials aligned with project objectives and organizational guidelines. Interest in contributing to awareness and information initiatives, including materials aimed at engaging vulnerable communities. Knowledge of Spanish is required.
