You might support education and school mediation, helping students with language or science support, assisting learners with special needs, or contributing to well-being and mediation activities. If you are drawn to the arts, you can join our community dance and creative projects, assisting weekly sessions, weekend labs, artistic processes, and simple organisational tasks. If you enjoy digital creativity, photography or video, you can support communication and audiovisual documentation, producing short videos, capturing moments, and helping with social media and event support. And if you love intercultural experiences, you may join our international mobility projects, supporting logistics, groups, filming and storytelling. We are looking for people who want to learn, collaborate, and make a meaningful contribution to inclusive artistic and educational environments. Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
All expenses related to accommodation, water, electricity and internet will be covered by DCTR. Before your arrival, we will have online meetings to prepare the volunteering and we will maintain a clear and regular communication with the selected volunteers. Volunteering lasts an average of 35 hours per week, with flexible hours to be agreed with the project manager, all public holidays are free days for volunteers. All volunteers will be entitled to €6 per day as pocket money and €10 per day for meals, paid by DCTR monthly.
Formação durante a atividade
You are going to receive a pre-departure training, from your support organization. You'll also have access to the Online Language Support. During your volunteering period, the Portuguese National Agency usually organizes on arrival and mid term training courses.
Perfil do participante
Two volunteers for a 5-month placement These volunteers will support the Vocational School of Aveiro, contributing to educational mediation, student support, small group tutoring, and the development of creative and community-focused projects within the school. 🔹 One volunteer with an IT background for a 3-month placement This volunteer will continue the development of an existing mobile application already published by DCTR, focused on mapping second-hand shops in Portugal. Experience or interest in app development is highly valued. 🔹 Two volunteers for a 2-month placement These volunteers will support DCTR’s Erasmus+ projects and mobility activities, contribute to social media updates, document weekly dance and community sessions (photo/video), and help refresh content for an ongoing food-waste awareness campaign.
