Περιγραφή
GHD has been active in the field of International Work Camps since 1959. It cooperates with 163 organizations in over 100 countries, offering young people opportunities to gain international experience and broaden their perspectives. GHD has been accredited in the ESC program since 2007 and has sent 582 Turkish volunteers abroad so far. The organization also hosts International Work Camps in Turkey and welcomes volunteers from many countries, including long-term volunteers in its office. Activities: The volunteer will support daily office work, help organize workshops for volunteers (e.g. language or skill-based workshops), assist with social media management, contribute to international project writing (Erasmus+), and support leaders during International Work Camps in Turkey.
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
A room in an apartment will be rented for the volunteer. The volunteer will be given pocket money, food allowance and a fee for local transportation.
Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα
The volunteer will participate in on-arrival and mid-term trainings organized by the National Agency. These trainings will support the volunteer’s personal and professional development, intercultural learning, understanding of the ESC programme and reflection on the learning process during the activity. Turkish language support will be provided by the volunteers of our association. A mentor will be assigned to the Volunteer.
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
- Between 22-30 years old - Speaks basic Turkish or is willing to learn Turkish - Social media and design skills - Volunteer candidates with an open mind, leadership ability, successful in teamwork, and open to new cultures are welcome.
