Opis

You will support the integration of gender and protection in humanitarian and development programming. You will in charge of mainstreaming gender transformative approaches in program management, gender analysis, identifying protection risks, and draft practical Gender Action Plans for country bases in Cotabato, Siargao, and Zamboanga, subject to security clearances. You will work closely with technical teams, field staff, and partners to ensure context-specific gender and protection priorities are identified and addressed. You also will gather data through consultations, supporting capacity building, and knowledge management. Regular field travel may be required, in coordination with the security team.

Accommodation, travel costs, visa, pre-deployment medical check + vaccinations (only if mandatory for the country), allowance will be covered. In case of need, a Fewer Opportunities Support will also be covered. A monthly Subsistence Lump Sum will be provided to cover basic needs such as food and personal hygiene items.

Profil uczestnika

You have good reporting skills, and ability to conduct assessments and gender/protection analysis. Knowledgeable on protection mainstreaming approaches in projects/programs. Ability to assess/manage/monitor protection/ gender outputs, outcomes, and impacts. Computer/IT skills. High analytical capacity. Effective communication, facilitation, and synthesis. Familiarity with different gender concepts/framework used by donors. Eligibility: Candidates must be 18 to 35 years old, reside in one of the eligible countries (EU Member State, North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Turkey), have completed the compulsory Humanitarian Aid Volunteering training and not have participated before in individual Humanitarian Aid Volunteering. When adding together this new volunteering opportunity and any previous participation in EU volunteering programmes, the total duration cannot exceed 12 months.
