RADI VIDI PATS
LIEPAJA, Letónia
Descrição
Radi Vidi Pats is a community-driven organisation in Liepāja, Latvia, with a strong focus on social inclusion, non-formal education, sustainability, and active participation. With over 20 years of experience, we engage young people and the wider community through hands-on, community-based initiatives such as the community garden, creative and educational activities, open social spaces, and environmental projects. As a volunteer, you will actively contribute to meaningful initiatives that strengthen community bonds, connection with nature, creativity, and learning by doing, while developing your own skills and being part of an open, inclusive, and values-driven community.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
As a volunteer, more likely you'll stay in a place with a separate room, but a shared kitchen and other facilities. It may be also a room in a dormitory. It’s a great chance to meet new people, make friends, and immerse yourself in community life. Volunteers will receive a food allowance, giving them the flexibility to buy and prepare their meals. Sustainability is an important part of Radi Vidi Pats, and cycling is the main way to get around, we will arrange a bicycle for you if it's comfortable to get around like this! However, if needed, we can also arrange a monthly bus or tram ticket.
Formação durante a atividade
Volunteers will receive hands-on training related to their tasks, including non-formal education methods, sustainability practices, community engagement, event organisation, creative communication, and project-specific skills (such as bike repair, if relevant). If needed, volunteers can access Latvian or English language courses to support their integration. Throughout the project, volunteers will take part in mentorship sessions, reflections, and self-development activities, strengthening their skills, confidence, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
