Beschreibung
This kindergarten is based on an open concept, which means that the children themselves decide where they want to be and what they want to do. The volunteer should support team in their daily work as well as the children. The activities in which the volunteer is involved: speaking with the children, playing with the children indoors, morning gathering, games in garden (with balls, role games, playing in the sandbox), excursions, days in the forest, but also household tasks (order in the group room, garderobe). The own initiative, proposals of the activities are hoped for and will be supported (maybe you can do some handicrafts, singing, gymnastics..?).
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
The volunteer will live in the beautiful city of Hammelburg in the volunteer flat with single room, shared kitchen and bathroom with two other volunteers. The volunteer will receive food (333€) and pocket money (210€) as well as insurance and monthly train ticket all over Germany (as long as it gets). Also, if needed there will be a German language course offered.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
During the project, there are two seminars - On arrival training and Midterm meeting- organised by the German National Agency, both compulsory. It will be a chance to get to know volunteers doing their ESC project in other German cities and reflect on different topics.
Teilnehmerprofil
We are looking for a volunteer (18-30 years old) who is motivated to work with children, open-minded and patient. The volunteer should bring to the institution her/his different skills, abilities, interests and personality. She/He should gather various experiences and be aware of her pedagogical skills and learn to be aware of her/his talents and to propose specific offers to the children. Also, she/he will have a chance to have contact with children of different ages.
