Description
A central part of the role is acting as a co-lead within the Media Group. It is a team of volunteers responsible for marketing and campaigns (for example, for host families, sending students and volunteers), working in collaboration with the AFS office. In this role, the volunteer will serve as a liaison between volunteers and staff in the implementation of communication activities. The volunteer will also be invited to join an ongoing effort to develop and distribute information and knowledge regarding intercultural learning in and outside of the AFS Interkultur, through various channels.

Participant profile
The ideal volunteer should recognize themselves in several of the following points: Has knowledge of and interest in AFS Interkultur – knowledge of AFS Sverige is a strong asset Experience in communication, social media, marketing, digital content creation is a plus Takes initiative, thinks creatively, works highly structured and independently Has strong written and visual communication skills in English – Swedish is a strong plus Has good IT and digital skills in general. PC literacy is mandatory. Experience with tools such as WordPress, social media platforms, Excel, CRM systems is an asset Is ideally 24+ years old Is interested in intercultural learning and communication, youth issues and volunteering
