We are excited to welcome passionate and motivated volunteers to Riverland Bio Farm in beautiful Cyprus! This paid volunteering project runs from November 2025 to April 2026 and is open to individuals aged 18-30 who are eager to contribute to sustainable farming, conservation, and community initiatives for 6 months! 📌 Location: Kampia, Cyprus 📅 Duration: March 2026 to August 2026 💡 Volunteer Tasks Include: Designing and implementing educational workshops. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteers will stay in small wooden houses at the Riverland (Forest) Bio Farm in Kampia. All rooms are built in nature with access to fresh air and natural light and are additionally equipped with essential amenities such as a toilet and bathroom, kitchen, washing machine, table, and internet access. Meals will also be provided at no cost to the volunteers, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner served at the Forest Bio Farm. The meals are prepared with fresh, organic ingredients produced on the farm, offering an authentic and healthy experience for all participants.

Training during the activity

During the volunteer program, participants will receive hands-on training tailored to various tasks. This includes sustainable agricultural techniques like organic cultivation, harvesting, and packaging, as well as traditional methods for producing organic products such as anari, feta, and halloumi. Volunteers will also learn livestock care, biodiversity preservation, and environmental conservation practices. Additional workshops will cover digital marketing, project promotion, and outdoor activity coordination, fostering valuable skills for personal and professional growth.

Participant profile

Volunteers should be passionate about sustainable agriculture and organic farming practices. Ideal candidates are nature enthusiasts who enjoy working outdoors and engaging with animals. They should be physically active, responsible, and eager to participate in hands-on tasks such as animal care, crop cultivation, and farm maintenance. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential, as volunteers often assist with educational workshops and eco-tourism activities. A commitment to environmental sustainability and a positive attitude towards learning new skills are key qualities for contributing to the farm's mission.
