Beschreibung

The Volunteer will work in the area of health and social services, in the area of asylum, migration and integration. A focus lies on Family Tracing and Reunification The volunteer will be involved in: • Communication with clients • Working on planning Integration projects • Assisting in the area of restoring family links and tracing • Attending exchange meetings with other organizations Required skills: - Languag(es): German (A2) and/or English - Computer skills (MS Office 365) - Ability to work in a team - Interest in the subject matter and motivation for the mission The assignment site is located in Neurum, with the actual office the participant will work in being located in the centre of Innsbruck. To the west is the city of Hall in Tirol. In both cities, there are intensive cultural and recreational opportunities, sports facilities and numerous leisure activities. In addition, both cities are university cities with many young, international students.

Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten

The volunteer will be accommodated in his/her fully furnished room (bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, bathroom, WLAN) in Innsbruck. Access to a fully equipped kitchen and washing machines is given. Both the offices in Neurum as well as in Innsbruck are well connected to the public transport network. Using a bicycle is always an option as well, since distances are generally rather short.

Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit

Volunteers will be offered German language training as needed.
