Live for 6 months in Hopeland, co-creating with the Hopeland crew, and create your own self-directed volunteering experience, based on care and common agreements. Use your hands, mind, creativity and any other skills you might have into maintenance of the place, hosting groups, trainings and residencies, and outreaching the local community. It focuses on solidarity, rural development and a sustainable lifestyle for young people, especially those with fewer opportunities. Vitality is a project co-funded by the European Solidarity Corps Programme of the European Union, through the Italian National Agency, coordinated by Associazione Vagamondo, and implemented by Hopeland.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
*Accommodation is happening in individual teepee tent equipped with pallet bed and small furniture for personal items. There are 2 outdoor toilets and 2 outdoor showers. Additionally there is 3 compost toilet around the estate. *There is a separate kitchen building and a roofed dining area with all the necessary equipment for cooking and dining. During the week, we are cooking and eating our main meals communally. * There is a van for transportation upon communication with the coordinator.
Perfil do participante
We are offering this opportunity to 2 volunteers that are fulfilling the requirements from the programme itself as well as fit the profile that we would like to focus on. *18-30 years old (not older than 30 on the first day of the project) *Legal residents of Italy (besides nationality and original passport)*Ready to live in a rural environment with basic conditions *Eager to be challenged into aligning together with people from different cultures and making together a nurturing and well-functioning community *Enthusiastic with hands-on activities and practical tasks
