Beschreibung
One is a social cooperative dealing with everything related to culture and travel. It promotes sustainable tourism through a hostel in the historical town of Crotone. During summer period the ESC volunteers will help with the management of the hostel. Tasks: - Hostel work like reception, administration cleaning of spaces and rooms - support local trips for youth - support the touristic infopoint of the Municipality of Crotone - communication on the website and social media. During autumn and winter period volunteers will continue work in the hostel as well as assist in local school and in educational meetings and trips with young people: - share the ESC experience to promote this opportunity among youth - organisation of workshops for children and youth.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Accomodation will be provided inside the hostel managed by the organisation, inside a DOUBLE room shared with another volunteer. The volunteers will receive a pocket money of 5 euro per day and 160 euro as food support. Travel expenses will be reimbursed on the basis determined by the European Commission.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
Volunteers will participate in the Trainings organized by the Italian National Agency. Associazione Joint, will be the coordinating organization of the project.

Available for the whole duration of the project • Ready to live an a small town • The volunteer should love open-air activities • Ready to work with young people and hostel guests, be open minded and welcoming • Not afraid to "get hands dirty" and be ready for cleaning of hostel spaces • Be proactive, flexible, creative • Social media content creation • Driving license will be considered a plus • HIGH motivation to learn Italian.
