Opis
Zasavje Occupational Activity Centre (Varstveno delovni center Zasavje) is a public social welfare institution supporting 150 adults with mental and physical disabilities through social inclusion, work activities, and day care. Volunteers support staff and users in workshops and structured daily activities such as creative sessions, simple work tasks, recreation, and skill development. They encourage participation, provide individual support, and help create a respectful, inclusive environment. They also join cultural, sports, and social activities, socialize with users, accompany them on walks and errands, and help with light household tasks and gardening. Volunteers take part in the MC ZOS daily centre, a neutral space for young people to meet and spend free time, supporting community involvement. In addition, volunteers promote the ESC and non-formal education, share their experiences, and develop personal projects, contributing ideas while gaining valuable skills.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
The volunteer apartment is located in a block of flats in the center of Zagorje, just a 10-minute walk from all hosting organisations and 5 minutes from shops, the cultural centre, pubs, and restaurants. It has 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with toilet, shared with other volunteers. Allowance and costs: Pocket money: 5 €/day Food allowance: 196 €/month Arrival and departure costs, as well as travel within project activities, are covered by the ESC programme Possible inclusion support is available.

Profil uczestnika
We are looking for highly motivated volunteers for the proposed activities. A basic or higher level of English is welcome. Selection is based on motivation and interest; religion, gender, nationality, or other identity factors are not considered. No specific education or prior knowledge is required, as training and mentorship are provided. Volunteers with fewer opportunities are encouraged to apply and will receive inclusion support.
