Περιγραφή
Join us to discover and document rural life: meet people, take photos, learn recipes, listen to stories and so on. The work that the volunteers will do will consist of the following but not limited to: - sociological research in the community - collect stories, legends, recipes, information etc - gathering audio/video/photo/written material from around the area - creating and mapping hike and bike trails that would include local produces, places to see, etc - organizing intercultural events in which they will present their own cultures to the locals. - put together the material, edit the videos, photo and text materials and adding them on the webpages - presenting their work. - give a hand to tasks around.
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
- reimbursement of travel costs up to 211/309/395 euro (according to distance) in the end of the stay - green travel costs available as well - accommodation in a traditional house in our community together with the rest of the volunteers (you will be a bunch of international) - food allowance and pocket money - local transport bus permits and car when needed for activities, sim cards with mobile data, medical insurance etc

As a volunteer in our projects you will receive a variety of trainings and support such as: - mentor support - language training - coordination, materials for activities and equipment - task-related trainings such as teambuilding, health and security, event management, basic youthwork and group dynamics, communication, basics of research etc
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
- is between 18 and 30 years old - is available for 6-8 months of the mobility - is motivated to do international volunteering - is strongly motivated to live and work in rural area - is interested in learning a different European language - is motivated to promote rural heritage and sustainable values and behaviours - is motivated to develop new competences and to learn about community development - has at least basic English communication skills, spoken and written
