The project will be coordinated by YUPI, a Portuguese youth NGO founded in 2008 and based in Famalicão, Northern Portugal. This project offers two young volunteers the opportunity to join YUPI’s core team of international youth projects. The volunteer will support the organisation and logistic coordination of international activities, including Youth Exchanges, hosting of international groups, and preparation of an EcoFestival and an International Workcamp taking place in July. Main tasks include:Logistic support: preparation of spaces, materials and schedules; On-site support during activities and events; Assisting with coordination of international participants; Social media communication and promotion; Creating and sharing content, Supporting communication with participants. before and during activities; Supporting communication with participants and the wider community.The volunteer will actively experience the organisational side of international youth work, gaining insi
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
The volunteer will be accommodated in a house of local people, with single room, and shared bathroom and kitchen. The towels, sheets and blankets are provided. Wi-fi available in the house. Meals will be provided during hosting activities. On remaining days, a daily food allowance of €15 will be granted. Pocket money will be provided by the Hosting Organization as well as costs of travel, accommodation, food, local transportation and activities. Everything is covered to ensure that the volunteer can fully focus on the learning.
Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα
During the project the volunteer will receive on arrival training, provided by YUPI. Also, the language course of Portuguese language will be offered up to 15h during stay in Portugal in a way to be easier to get involved in daily activities with the target groups, as well as with the local community. We support each volunteer with individual mentor sessions.

We are looking to host 2 volunteers, experienced in volunteering, associations, or international projects, is open to learning and exploring the organisational side of international youth exchanges, and is prepared to contribute actively to the success of the program. who is motivated, proactive, responsible, communicative, creative, and able to work in a dynamic and international youth project environment. The ideal volunteer is flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with practical tasks, fast-paced situations, and supporting the organisation of events behind the scenes. This project is for you if you are interested in youth work, event organisation, communication, teamwork, sustainability, and community engagement. Good English communication skills are desired.Preference will be given to candidates who can extend their stay and participate in the ESC Team project from 6th to 25th July.
