Foundation Perekodu in Viljandi County provides a supportive and caring environment for children and youth with mental or physical disabilities. Through its diverse services, the organization aims to enhance their quality of life, foster independence, and create opportunities for growth. Perekodu offers childcare, support for daily activities, rehabilitation, and aftercare. It houses a nursery and school for children aged 1.5 to 19, where volunteers can engage in creative activities, play, and social support. Rehabilitation services benefit over 100 children annually, with experts providing tailored therapy programs. Volunteers can make a meaningful difference by supporting children in their daily routines and organizing activities. Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Volunteers will be provided with suitable accommodation conveniently located near their respective hosting organisation. Accommodation will typically be in a shared apartment or hostel, furnished with essential items. Rooms may be private or shared, depending on availability, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Volunteers receive €5/day pocket money and additional food allowance, managing their own meals. International travel is reimbursed based on set travel budget and task related local transport is covered to full extent.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
Volunteers will take part in the ESC training cycle organized by the Estonian National Agency, which focuses on personal development and intercultural learning. Additionally, the coordinating organisation arranges hikes and other activities for volunteers throughout the service period, providing opportunities for social interaction.
