Description
Educadores Leonardino was founted as a tool of educational assictance to families in exclusion and childen/young people with learning difficulties. With the growing necessity of attending a broader and more adult population, our activity is nowadays mostly focused on immigration, people in high exclusion risk or homeless individuales, so as Saint Jacob´s pilgrims passing through the city during the summer months.
Our organization closely cooperates with another social, cultural and educative local entities, like music schools, chois, music bands, asscociation for social inclusion, Catholic Church and Charity.
Activities (The volunteer will focus on selected activities based on agreement):
Organizing cultural and educative events.
Liturgical music (singing, teaching organ, composition, and sheet music transcription), Rock music.
Video filming and editing (about homeless citizens)
Albergue maintenance (kitchen, cleaning, paint, reparation).
Children’s camps (marginalized)
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accomodation single room plus wifi included
Food: agreement (either full pension or 180€ support)
Pocket money: 180€/month
Transport: Flying ticket and bus for trip covered regardin the Europe Distance Calculator
Local transport: not needed

Participant profile
English language (minimum B2 level).
Spanish language is welcome but not mandatory.
Openness to a new culture.
Responsibility and experience with teamwork.
Functionally independent and emotionally mature profile, capable of working alone occasionally.
Positive attitude toward children and family activities.
Familiar with Christian values and environment (or respectful of Christian values, not necessarily practicing).
