Opis
Do you love history and nature ? Come and help restore the ruins of the castle of the Lords of Sauve and discover its 1,500-year history!
Explore the rich heritage of the town, including the foundations of a 10th-century Carolingian tower and an imposing medieval cistern (12th and 13th centuries). Many other surprises await you, revealed by recent archaeological excavations. Your work will consist of restoring the stone wall surrounding the Castellas, which has been weakened by breaches caused by heavy rain.
This work is essential to secure the castle site and enable the municipality to open it to visitors, walkers, and curious minds from all walks of life to come and discover this rich heritage! An enriching experience that combines medieval history, ancestral construction techniques, and intercultural encounters!
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
You will be staying in several comfortable communal lodges in the beautiful village of Sauve. Each chalet is equipped with a kitchen and dormitories, as well as bathrooms.
