Natural routes are a precious asset of the Tuscany. They create a bond between people and nature, and encourage a deep curiosity and passion for the environment and physical activity. However, they need regular and dedicated maintenance in order to be available and comfortably traversed by visitors all year round. In Trail Angels, teams of volunteers coming from all Europe will be hosted in Tuscany for one month between May and July to take care of different routes within the areas of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, Massarosa and Fucecchio, and will help and meet the local communities along their period of service. ------------------------- * Please, note that we won't answer to any application from people who don't fill up this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc7FdlJzN2h8nawOLAXEU_QKSXBpIAxIfA6Scgfelgg8hBhVQ/viewform?usp=dialog More information on the project and the accomodations can be found in the infokits linked on the form.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
As a participant on this volunteering opportunity, each volunteer will receive: -Pocket money (150€/month) -Food allowance (150€/month) -Travel reimbursement (see the related chart in the European Solidarity Corps website for more info) -Health insurance -Youthpass Everything else, including accommodation and activity-related costs, will be managed by the hosting organization. International travel is also reimbursed. The activities in the volunteering include cleanup days, events to meet local actors and the community in which they will work and and artistic activities.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
The volunteers will: - work in teams, which will provide an opportunity of intercultural and interreligious dialogue, as well as developing soft skills, leadership and problem-solving abilities; - develop other skills and competences which are useful for their educational, social and professional development; - participate in an activity that allows them to gain awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries, to actively participate in society and to develop a sense of European citizenship and identity.
