The Fröbel Schule in Aschaffenburg is a state special education center with a focus on learning support. It provides individualized education for children and young people who need additional help in their academic development. As a volunteer, you will participate in daily activities at the Fröbel School and support both teachers and youth workers. Your tasks include helping staff work with children at the "offener Ganztag"_after school care centre and assisting in the preparation of daily activities. You will also take part in special events and projects organized by the school. This role offers valuable experience in education and social work while contributing to the development of children with special learning needs
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
You will be living in a shared flat with other volunteers. The flat is fully furnished. The host organisation will cover the costs of food and travel. A bicycle will also be provided for your use.
Formação durante a atividade
You will take part in onarrival and mid-term seminars and attend a language course
Perfil do participante
If you’d like to spend a year at a school for children with special educational needs, focusing on learning; If you’re curious, joyful and full of life; if you enjoy spending time with children, want to help them with their homework, want to organise active leisure activities and are keen to take on new challenges, then this is the right project for you. The knowledge of German language will be an advantage.
