The Project Assistant will contribute to initiatives that promote social inclusion and dignity for vulnerable groups, including homeless people, ethnic minorities, and care leavers. The work focuses on building economic, social, and educational capacities within communities, challenging harmful stereotypes, and raising awareness of equal rights and opportunities. // RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the project manager with communication, timeline, and deliverable management; Handle administrative tasks such as data classification, entry, and archiving; Draft documents and gather necessary information; Coordinate and prepare for meetings, workshops, and training sessions; Notify staff about meeting schedules and locations; Organize meetings and send agendas; Update project logs with assignment progress; Assist in project implementation assessments and status reviews; Support proposal writing (research, needs assessment, data analysis); Participate in field visits.

Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte

Volunteers are provided with appropriate accommodation, which may be shared with other volunteers when deployments overlap. Each volunteer has their own lockable room. The accommodation is located near the Community Center and the volunteer's workspace. The Community Center is 13 km (approximately 8 miles) from the city center, with frequent public transport connections running every 5–15 minutes depending on the line. Public transport is free of charge. A monthly allowance of 500 EUR is provided to cover food and communication costs.

Formação durante a atividade

ADRA Serbia ensures initial and ongoing orientation training, with a consistent emphasis on self-assessment and the adjustment of arrangements to achieve maximum positive impact. Volunteers have the opportunity to attend training workshops in various formats and are actively encouraged to do so. Most training offered relates to working with specific groups, including homeless people and young people leaving care. Volunteers' personal interests and learning goals are also taken into account when identifying suitable training opportunities.
