Within the framework of the project implemented by Youth Council Prilep, three volunteers will participate in a short-term accredited volunteering activity lasting 59 days in Prilep, North Macedonia. The volunteers will be actively engaged in the daily work of the organisation’s office, where they will have the opportunity to demonstrate and enhance their competences, strengthen their sense of initiative, and acquire new skills and knowledge. Their involvement will include organising and delivering diverse activities such as recording radio podcasts, facilitating workshops, presentations and courses, coordinating sports and creative games, preparing lectures, and participating in meetings with the local volunteer team. The project is designed to promote environmental protection and sustainable development, encourage youth participation in democratic life, and advance the EU Youth Goals, ensuring full alignment with the priorities approved in the application.
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
The volunteer will be accommodated in an apartment in Prilep, Macedonia. Each month the volunteer will receive allowances for food and pocket money, on Macedonian bank account. Also, the costs for rent of the apartment, bills for electricity and water will be covered by the Youth Council Prilep. Travel costs will be refunded according to Distance Band Calculator of Erasmus + programme, green travel is predicted to be used for all volunteers involved in the project. Youth Council Prilep team will assist selected volunteers to organize their green travel in a best way.
Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα
Volunteer will have an opportunity to participate at On-arrival training organized by Macedonia National Agency (if arrived in the time before the training will be organized by NA). During the activity, volunteers will receive Macedonian language training classes. The volunteers will have the opportunity to be engaged in local training and workshops organized by Youth Council Prilep.
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
The project seeks three motivated young volunteers who are open-minded, adaptable, and eager to engage in intercultural learning. Ideal participants are individuals who demonstrate a strong interest in community engagement, youth participation, sustainability, and democratic values. They should be willing to take initiative, contribute creatively to activities, and collaborate effectively with both local and international peers. No specific academic or professional background is required; instead, emphasis is placed on personal motivation, willingness to learn, and readiness to contribute to the organisation’s daily work. Volunteers with fewer opportunities (social, economic, cultural, or health-related challenges) are particularly encouraged to join, as the project is designed to provide tailored support and ensure their full inclusion.
