ESC Volunteering at Kristiine Kindergarten in Tallinn, Estonia

Opis

The main goal is to support families in preparing children for school and to teach and develop children’s physical, mental and social skills. The values of the organisation are openness, creativity, tolerance, respect, caring and courage. The kindergarten has 12 classes for 1.5-7 years old children. The main activity is to teach children creativity through play. The kindergarten is in a green district of the Estonian capital within walking distance or short public transport trip from downtown. By including an international volunteer in our kindergarten, our goal is to improve together our main values through intercultural learning and get a fresh bystander view of our organization. At the same time, the volunteer can contribute with innovative ideas to engage with children, parents, teachers and the community. Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport

ESC Volunteers will be provided with suitable accommodation conveniently located near their respective hosting organisation. Accommodation will typically be in a shared apartment or hostel, furnished with essential items. Rooms may be private or shared, depending on availability, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Volunteers receive €5/day pocket money and additional €7/day food allowance, managing their own meals. International travel is reimbursed based on set travel budget and task related local transport is covered to full extent.

Szkolenie w trakcie działania

Volunteers will take part in the ESC training cycle organized by the Estonian National Agency, which focuses on personal development and intercultural learning. Additionally, EstYES organizes hikes and other activities for volunteers throughout the service period, providing opportunities for social interaction.
