Spain and Erasmus mobility in highschool
Maison de l'Europe Le Mans - Sarthe
ASS LYCEE PRIVE PROFESSIONNEL LES HORIZONS
72650 - ST SATURNIN, France
Description
For several years now, the Lycée has had unifying and exciting experiences in the field of European professional mobility. The intention is to continue in this dynamic, to strengthen openness to the world, to others and to develop European citizenship, thanks to the presence of a volunteer. It is about diversity education. It's about getting to know each other, accepting difference, respecting others. It's about arousing curiosity to make you want to leave your comfort zone, and perhaps go and live other experiences beyond borders. n a daily basis, our volunteer participates in teaching, activities, and meetings. On the teaching side, the volunteer may accompany groups on professional visits to companies (particularly in the personal services sector), on educational outings, or simply during practical training sessions, and/or English and/or French classes, in order to improve their language skills and proficiency

Participant profile
it is important that our volunteer takes the time to fully integrate into the school (which will be their primary objective), both with the staff and the students. We expect our volunteer to be open-minded, curious, dynamic, and proactive. They will need to foster dialogue and build trusting relationships with the students. Therefore, it is important that they are approachable, comfortable interacting with others, and enjoy working as part of a team. We also hope that our volunteer will be proactive in promoting multiculturalism. They will be expected to organize various activities and events (both recreational and/or educational, depending on their skills). t’s great if : You feel comfortable around teenager as an activity leader You are dynamic and outgoing You are willing to speak French You are proactive, full of ideas and happy to be here!
