The Korablja community is a meeting place for people with and without intellectual disabilities. We are also called the Arka community because we are part of the large international federation L'Arche International. If you believe in the ability and creative potential of people with intellectual disabilities, you have come to the right place. Start of volunteering: September/October 2026 Duration of volunteering: 9 months Age of volunteers: 18 – 30 years Some of the activities/tasks: Assistance with work activities (making greeting cards, jewellery, decorative items and other creative activities) Preparing weekly meetings with community members – designing activities, inviting guests Organization of monthly birthday celebrations for members of L’Arche Zagreb Creating and implementing short plays, board games and other creative activities and other... see on our web site: https://korablja-arka.hr/want-to-live-and-volunteer-at-larche-zagreb/

Szkolenie w trakcie działania
During the volunteering period, the volunteer will have the opportunity to participate in the ESC arrival training and mid-term training. These are usually held in other cities. Education on how to work with people with intellectual disabilities. Formation meetings with volunteer coordinator on a mental health and others. You will have the opportunity to have a courses of Croatian language.
