MOVIMIENTO POR LA PAZ, EL DESARME YLA LIBERTAD

Amman, Jordânia

Descrição

Movimiento por la Paz – MPDL is a social, pacifist, feminist, and anti-racist organization that has been working for more than 40 years towards building fairer, more inclusive, and peaceful societies. Within the framework of the ACT4PEACE “Solidarity, Inclusion and Action for Peace” project, which promotes youth volunteering as a tool for the promotion of human rights and cultures of peace in Latin America and the MENA region, MPDL offers an international volunteering opportunity in Morocco. The volunteer will join the MPDL team in Jordan, supporting the administrative and finance area of the team. This experience offers the opportunity to contribute to development and peacebuilding processes while strengthening professional and intercultural skills in an international environment committed to social transformation.

Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte

Accommodation, visa, insurance, and flight costs are fully covered by the project. Volunteers will stay in a safe area of Amman with access to basic services, individual rooms, internet, and all utilities included. In addition, volunteers will receive monthly pocket money to cover personal expenses, food, and local transport. Travel costs from the place of residence to the destination country will be covered by MPDL, and international health insurance (Henner) will be provided throughout the entire deployment.

Formação durante a atividade

You will take part in a pre-departure training on MPDL, humanitarian aid, security, mentoring, and practical matters such as visas and insurance. Upon arrival, you will receive an induction about the hosting organization, your role, and tasks. You will also join exchange spaces with other volunteers and trainings focused on strengthening transversal skills, including intercultural awareness. During your deployment, you are encouraged to make use of EU learning opportunities such as OLS, GOT, and SALTO trainings.
