Info Jeunes Occitanie is a Regional Youth Information Centre (CRIJ) and a non-profit organization, member of the European Youth Information and Counselling Agency (ERYICA). Our mission is to support young people in becoming independent by providing them with essential information for their daily lives, in accordance with the European Youth Information Charter. Info Jeunes Occitanie is part of the European Eurodesk network, which promotes European opportunities and encourages young people to become active citizens. We are offering a project aimed at developing and promoting European (and international) mobility for young people across the vast Occitanie region in southern France. Most of the activities within this project are based on the principle of peer-to-peer information sharing. Volunteers will act as "Occitanie European Mobility Ambassadors", promoting citizenship and cross-border mobility
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
We are looking for one volunteer in Toulouse, the second-largest city in the Occitanie region. The volunteer will live in a residence in Toulouse. Travel between the sending and hosting countries will be covered. Accommodation will be provided, and volunteers will receive an allowance for food, local transportation, and pocket money.
Formação durante a atividade
Two seminars organized by the french agency and one volunteering meeting with all the volunteers. They could participate in every training organized within or outside structure everytime they will want to.
Perfil do participante
We are looking for volunteers (aged 18 to 30) who have: - An interest in information and communication; - Good interpersonal skills and an enjoyment of teamwork; - A creative mindset and knowledge of internet-based tools. Knowledge of French would be an advantage, but it is not required!
