Voluntary service in a school in France (Strasbourg)

Opis
The project takes place in a private junior high school located in Strasbourg. The volunteer will join a team dedicated to supporting and creating activities for the students.
The weekly schedule ranges from Monday morning to Friday evening and is based on a 33-hours- week, with a break during the day and with wednesday afternoon off. A typical week may be:
- a time of presence and dialogue in the students’ living areas
- leading workshops and activities according to the volunteer’s interests (danse, theater, drawings, debates, ceramics, cooking ect..)
- participation in outings
- team meetings and organization times
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
As far as community life is concerned, the volunteer will be hosted in aflat with other volunteers, located about 10 minutes walk from the school. They will share the kitchen, living and dining-room, bathroom but will have an individual bedroom. They will have to follow the rules in force in the hosting institution. Due to accomodation facility rules, this project is open to women only.
Food and accommodation will be provided to the volunteer by the school
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
Several seminars organized by VISA ad and by the French National Agency throughout the year.
Profil uczestnika
Interest for the target group (children and teenagers). The candidate should ideally be 20 or older (to have an age gap between the students and the volunteer). Due to accomodation facility rules, this project is open to women only.
A basic level in french is highly recommended
