Permakulturpark am Lebensgarten Steyerberg (PaLS) gGmbH

Steyerberg, Deutschland

Beschreibung

In the beautifully situated permacultural park at Steyerberg, Germany, the participants will learn in a practical way about the future of ecological farming. By a combination of theory lessons and a hands on approach in the existing market garden they will experience what it needs to produce very healthy organic vegetables and to help to restore depleted soils at the same time. They will work together with skilled permacultural gardeners and motivated long-term volunteers from different countries. Additionally they will support the work on a new pond as a focal point of a nature based water management system that enhances bioderversity on the site. There will be a lot of leisure activities and fun. Participants will have the opportunity to meet the residents of the ‘Lebensgarten’, one of the first ecovillages in Germany, and share their experiences of living in a community.

Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten

Participants spend the nights in comfortable tents surrounded by nature on the site of the permaculture park. Sleeping bags, sleeping mats and additional blankets will be provided by the organizer. All meals are vegan and are provided and will be eaten together, with some of the food consisting of fresh organic vegetables from our own market garden. The journey to and from the site can be made by public transport (plane or train). There are various connections with public transport from the airports and the nearest railway station.
