Opis
Terra Franca is a volunteering project within the ESC Programme, open to 2 young people aged 18 to 30. You’ll become part of our community project based in Terra Franca, a piece of land confiscated from the Mafia and given custody to our organisation by the Municipality of Palermo in order to restore the good to the community. As a volunteer, you’ll help keeping the space accessible through activities that varies from outdoor work and local projects, to community events events and creative activities. You’ll learn by doing and gain practical skills that can be useful for your future! As a volunteer, you will help take care of the land through hands-on activities such as maintenance, planting, cleaning, and eco-building, making sure the space stays welcoming and accessible for everyone. You will also support the organisation of events, workshops and activities linked to the different projects of the organization, and helping taking care of our bees.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
Shared rooms in an apartment close to the historical centre of Palermo. The food allowance will be provided through vouchers of 7€/day. Volunteers will receive a metro pass for transportation.

Profil uczestnika
We are searching for two young, motivated and flexible volunteers. Not a high level of enghlish will be required. No strong previous experience will be necessary to access the project, but a strong motivation to be open to transformation, not only at a personal level but also as a search toward social and environmental justice in the local ad the wider community.
