LAST MINUTE SEARCH FOR 1 VOLUNTEER: A Two-Way Journey is a high-priority, two-month volunteer project based in Ankara, Türkiye, focused on promoting the sustainable socio-economic integration of Ukrainian refugees. With a significant proportion of the refugee population consisting of women and children, many of whom face serious integration challenges, this initiative aims to address urgent social needs while fostering community cohesion and resilience. The project will be implemented in the following days: From 29/06/2026 to 26/08/2026 (28 June and 27 August being the travel days).
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
The accommodation, food and transport costs are covered by the program: Volunteers will be accommodated in a private dormitory in Ankara. Rooms will be shared by a maximum of three volunteers, and separate dormitory arrangements will be provided for female and male volunteers. Breakfast and dinner will be provided at the dormitory. On working days, lunch will be provided at the association office. On days off, lunch payments will be provided to the volunteers. Travel tickets will be purchased by the hosting organisation.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
The volunteers will receive on-the-job training from the host organisation team regarding to the activities and mobility. The volunteers have the right and obligation to attend following the pre-departure training.
