Description

Join an international group volunteering project and experience a unique journey through music, culture, and collaboration with young people from different European countries! During the first part of the project,you will help organize an international choral festival in Wroclaw,supporting promotional,organizational,and logistical activities. You will gain valuable experience in teamwork and discover what happens behind the scenes of a large cultural event. The second part of the project will take place in Sycow and will focus on music,nature,and creativity. You will participate in workshops exploring sound,voice, breathing,and the role of music in different cultures. Together,we will discover the sounds of nature, create music, share traditions from our countries, and document the experience through the digital project diary, "TON Voices." If you are open to new experiences, enjoy working with others, and want to create something meaningful together, we are waiting for you!

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided by the hosting organisation in Wrocław and Syców. Participants will stay in fully equipped accommodation close to project activities. Food & pocket money: Food and pocket money will be provided according to ESC rules. Insurance: Full insurance coverage provided. Language support: Access to Polish language learning through OLS. Mentorship: Support from an experienced mentor throughout the project. Travel costs: Travel costs are covered according to ESC rules.

Training during the activity

Participants will take part in introductory sessions at the beginning of each project phase covering aims, tasks, teamwork and intercultural learning. After the festival in Wrocław and at the end of the project in Syców, reflection and evaluation sessions will be organised to support learning and competence development. Participants will join workshops with professionals from culture and education and educational visits to local institutions, including public administration and community organisations. They will receive continuous support from mentors and the coordinating team.

Participant profile

We are looking for motivated young people (18–30) interested in music, culture, teamwork and intercultural learning. Participants may have either musical experience or no prior experience – both are welcome. Participants should be open-minded, responsible and willing to engage in group activities and community work. They should be ready to collaborate in an international environment and communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds, even with limited language skills. We welcome participants who are curious, creative and interested in personal development, social engagement and learning through non-formal education. Motivation and willingness to actively participate in all project phases are essential.
