All4One VI
DOTS - Cooperativa de Inovação Social para a Transformação Social, CRL
Portimão, Portugalia
Opis
“All4One” aims to foster a culture of solidarity, support disadvantaged communities, and promote active youth participation. To achieve these objectives, DOTS has established a partnership with the Municipality of Portimão and several local civil society organizations to coordinate a social solidarity project that engages both local and European volunteers. The project focuses on two main areas: (1) Solidarity in Education and (2) Solidarity in Subsistence. Within the Solidarity in Education component, volunteers will support DOTS in delivering educational, recreational, and non-formal learning activities for children and young people. They will also contribute to promoting learning mobility opportunities, European initiatives, and active citizenship among the local community, encouraging greater participation in European programmes and fostering intercultural understanding.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
DOTS Cooperative will provide volunteers with safe, fully equipped accommodation that meets all health and safety standards and includes internet access. Volunteers will receive a monthly food allowance of €150 and pocket money of €180, transferred directly to their bank accounts. Local transport required for the implementation of the volunteering activities will be covered by DOTS if necessary. Travel to and from the hosting location will be organized and reimbursed in accordance with the rules of the European Solidarity Corps programme.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
Together with the sending organization, we will ensure that all selected volunteers participate in a pre-departure preparation process, including online meetings before their arrival. During the project, volunteers will take part in at least two interim training sessions, monthly follow-up meetings, and a final evaluation to reflect on their learning outcomes and overall experience. We will also ensure their participation in the training activities organised by the Portuguese National Agency as part of the European Solidarity Corps training cycle.
Profil uczestnika
Priority will be given to young people with fewer opportunities, including those experiencing long-term unemployment. Volunteers will be selected from the pool of candidates registered in the European Solidarity Corps Portal. We are looking for motivated, proactive, and responsible volunteers who enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment. The selection process will be based on equal opportunities and non-discrimination, promoting gender equality and inclusion throughout the project. The project also aims to empower volunteers to become active citizens and encourage them to continue participating in volunteering and community initiatives in their local communities after the project ends.
