Participating to our project at Rezé City Hall, the volunteer will be involved in educative and organisational projects of the municipality with young people (kids and teenagers).
• Organizational operations:
- Participation in educational initiatives (Children's Rights, Exhibition of sciences, etc.)
- Participation in internal operations: team meetings, key events
- Participation in the development of the organization's community life
• Solidarity-focused activities:
- Participation in parent-child activities at the leisure centers
• Development of the "international travel" theme:
- Support in organizing Erasmus+ initiatives (youth exchanges and mobility programs)
- Participation in the international youth initiatives led by the city of Rezé (partnership meetings)
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Accomodation : the volunteers are hosted in private apartments, fully equipped and located close to public transports, in a youth workers' residence. Transportation : the volunteers are provided with a transportation card to travel within the metropolitan area of Nantes Monthly pocket money (400€) (300€) and food costs are also provided to the volunteers. They can also benefit from meals at the municipal restaurant (lunch from Monday to Friday).
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
During the first 3 months after their arrival, the volunteers will follow an intensive French course in order to be quickly ready to evolve in a French-speaking environment. They will be under the supervision of a tutor and colleagues during the activities, who will train them to be able to carry their missions effectively. Volunteers are registered to the seminars organized by the French National Agency (arrival and mid-term trainings) where they meet with other volunteers from the region.
