Become part of a dynamic community supporting young people, refugees, earthquake-affected families, and local communities. Support educational activities for children and youth/ Create media content and develop skills in photography, video editing, digital storytelling, radio, podcast and TV production/ Participate in humanitarian aid and community based social activities/ Join environmental initiatives, including planting and nature protection/ Take part in sports (swimming, GYM, football etc.) and arts (violin, piano, guitar, bağlama, choir and draving) activities offered by the foundation. Easy accses to local culture, and community life. We are looking for volunteers who can join the project ASAP. Minimum project duration is two months , The project takes place in Gaziantep, a city known for its rich cultural heritage, world famous cuisine, and welcoming atmosphere. Gain new skills, and experience with lots of fun and make new friends.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Volunteers share rooms (2 people per room), with girls and boys accommodated separately. The accommodation is safe, extremely comfortable, fully equipped, and located right next to our foundation. Housekeeping services are provided twice a week. Three meals are provided daily. Meals usually include meat, but volunteers can also cook in the fully equipped kitchen, which is stocked with a variety of ingredients. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to the ESC distance bands. Airport transfers are provided upon arrival and departure. Volunteers will receive health insurance through Henner.
Formação durante a atividade
Volunteers will develop key skills such as creativity, teamwork, time management, communication, and problem-solving. They will participate in induction sessions to become familiar with Turkish culture, local community values, and project activities. Participants will gain project coordination experience by taking active roles in the implementation of projects. They will also benefit from Turkish language courses and English speaking clubs. Continuous guidance and mentoring will be provided throughout the project.
Perfil do participante
We are looking for motivated young people who are open minded, willing to learn, and interested in contributing to their local and international communities. Enthusiasm, respect, and willingness to participate are more important than the experience . Be sensitive to individuals at different levels; Respect people from different cultures; Respect other volunteers; Have different skills or interests (arts, sports, language, environment, media, science, etc.); Be willing to help where needed and up for a challenges!
