Descrição

This volunteer project aims to strengthen youth solidarity, intercultural learning, and active citizenship skills. Volunteers will support social, cultural, and sports events organized by youth centers and will organize English conversation events for young people and youth workers. They will also participate in Turkish, arts and crafts, and guitar lessons to develop new skills. Twice a week, volunteers will support children aged 4-6 in learning English through games, songs, and creative activities at the kindergarten. They will also contribute to the social and emotional well-being of children undergoing treatment in hospitals by participating in music activities. Visits to historical and cultural heritage sites will be organized to help volunteers explore local culture and history. It offers an enriching international volunteering experience where participants develop their personal, social, and professional competencies.

Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte

Volunteers will stay in student dormitories operated by the Provincial Directorate. Rooms are shared by two volunteers, with shared bathrooms, dining halls, and social facilities. Participants will receive a daily food allowance and local transport support. International travel costs will be covered according to European Solidarity Corps rules. Mentoring and organisational support will be provided throughout the project.

Volunteers will receive orientation, cultural adaptation, child protection, safety, and non-formal learning training at the beginning of the project.
