URGENT - SEARCHING FOR PARTICIPANS FOR THE PROJECT IN CROATIAN MOUNTAINS. WE ACCEPT APPLICATIONS ONLY THROUGH THIS PORTAL!
Unknown region of Croatia, called Lika, is extremely rich in biodiversity and geodiversity, which provides great educational opportunities, for the volunteers and the local community. Goal of this project is to present the challenges of modern life, impact of this way of life on our ecosystems, causes and consequences of climate change and to show the power and the role of individuals and community, through educating about responsible behavior. The aim is to empower the local community (especially kids and youth) and participants in this project for active participation in recognizing and dealing with the environmental problems, and to diseminate the results in their own communities. Think globally, act locally!
Activities: language school for kids and volunteers, cave exploring, help in the park, creating new trails, help with event organisation, exploring Croatia.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Accommodation - two local houses, located 1,5km away from the Park and 2km away from the centre of Perušić (shared rooms, kitchen and bathrooms, washing machine); Food - we provide food budget, participants plan and cook together in their houses; Transport - travel budget includes round trip to Croatia, and bus or train tickets to Perušić or Gospić (we provide a pick-up from there); each participant receives a bicycle during the activity
