Voluntary project with elderly people

Opis
The volunteer will be in contact with elderly people in a retirement home in Bischwiller (close to Strasbourg)
Your activities will be to :
- Create and take part in activities (music, creative workshops, games, themed evenings, movie nights, DIY, gymnastics etc.)
- Go along with residents on outings (going to cultural activites outside, going on strolls, but also going to the hairdresser or to other appointments)
- Provide some time for discussion, newspaper reading and to increase their social life
- You can also suggest projects according to your interests
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
The projects hosts each year two volunteers.
Each volunteer will be accommodated in a single studio appartment
Food will be provided by the placement
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
The volunteer will take part in three seminars organised by the lead organisation, and two seminars organised by the ESC Agency.
Profil uczestnika
No prior experience are needed for this activity, excepted being motivated to work with elderly people. The basics of french is a plus to communicate with the host organisation.
