The volunteer will participate to activities linked to : -helping the Roma community in the city (helping the French social workers by interpreting conversations and translating documents to facilitate communication with non French speaking residents) -reducing the digital divide and helping people to have access to phones and computers -organizing Romanian language workshops with French social workers
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
Are provided to our volunteers : accommodation (single equipped flat in a residence with other young French people), pocket money for your own expenses (400€/month), food money (300€/month) and transportation (to and from your home country + a transportation card for tramways and buses in Nantes).
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
During the first 3 months after their arrival, the volunteers will follow an intensive French course in order to be quickly ready to evolve in a French-speaking environment. They will be under the supervision of a tutor and colleagues during the activities, who will train them to be able to carry their missions effectively. Volunteers are registered to the seminars organized by the French National Agency (arrival and mid-term trainings) where they meet with other volunteers from the region.
Profil uczestnika
We are looking for Romanian speakers, with interpersonal skills, motivated to get involved in this particular project and more globally in a solidarity project. We do not require volunteers to know French, but they should be able to communicate in English.
