Opis
The volunteers will implement together workshops about the Values of the European Union (democracy, solidarity, human rights...) and the diversity the EU represents as it is stated in its motto: United in Diversity. It will be implemented at schools, both primary and secondary, in a rural environment. It also encourages the participation of all rural youngsters and kids in shaping the Europe of the future based on these shared values. Thus, the project wants to bring active European citizenship directly into schools with the help of the volunteers. They will also participate in information and dissemination activities on the same topics aimed at the local community.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
Accommodation: the volunteers will share a flat where they will each have an individual bedroom.
Food: the volunteers will receive a monthly allocation for food, apart from their pocket money.
Transport: local transport is not necessary, when we go to other municipalities to implement activities, the organisation covers the costs
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
On arrival organised by the National Agency (face to face in another city for a week), first month training sessions within the organisation during the first month, support and follow up meetings weekly during the whole project.
Spanish through the Language Support provided by the European Commission online
Profil uczestnika
The volunteers must have an interest in the European Union and its values, in Democracy and Human rights, Cultural Diversity as a richness of the EU and how to convey that message to local children and youngsters helping them to make all these values theirs. They will do so using non formal learning methods both at school and out of school, so they should also be interested in education, social dinamisation, youth work, creativity, team work. They should also be interested in working with children and young people, that is the target public, as well as the local community at large indirectly. Some basic knowledge of Spanish will help a lot.
