We invite you to join Vilniaus Arkos Bendruomenė as a volunteer in Lithuania. We are looking for open-minded, caring people who are willing to connect with others and learn through everyday experiences.
As a volunteer, you will spend time with people with disabilities, support them in their daily activities, and take part in creative, social, and community activities. This experience gives you the opportunity to build meaningful connections, develop new skills, discover different perspectives, and learn from each other.
In this community, the focus is not on what needs to be achieved, but on the time spent together, the relationships we build, and the value of each person’s journey.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Volunteers will live in a shared apartment in Vilnius with other volunteers. Each volunteer will have a separate room, the kitchen and showers will be shared.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
Volunteers will receive induction training upon arrival, as well as mid-term training organized by the national agency. Monthly meetings will also be organized for volunteers to provide ongoing support, share experiences, and address any challenges.
Teilnehmerprofil
We are looking for friendly, responsible participants who are interested in volunteering with people with disabilities. Most importantly, participants should be motivated, respectful, compassionate and willing to learn and contribute to the community.
