The volunteer's mission will be to include the children who attend the center (aged 3 to 14 years old) in a civic-minded approach and to develop activities around different themes. January-February : Cultural discovery. February/April : Preparing actions against discriminations and racism. April/May : Promoting the mini-farm and sustainable practices. Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Volunteers are provided with free accommodation. The volunteer will be housed with another volunteer in a shared apartment with two bedrooms, a shared kitchen and a shared bathroom. Volunteers receive €8 pocket money per day (224€ to 248€/month according to the number of days during the month) + a food allowance (€256). In addition, volunteers are fed three times a day, except for weekends and school holidays. Volunteers have a bicycle at their disposal. The volunteer will be able to use the Center's car on his or her own time, depending on the vehicles' availabilty and the distance.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
Volunteers will take part in two seminars with volunteers from all over France. Volunteers will be able to attend French classes. Volunteers will have the opportunity to take the Brevet d'Aptitude aux Fonctions d'Animateur (BAFA). This diploma enables volunteers to supervise children and teenagers in a non-professional capacity. Volunteers can take a first-aid course. Other training courses on various themes (e.g.: two-day training course in Paris on international solidarity, online training on setting up sustainable solidarity projects, online workshops on the associative world,...)
