Join InfinityGreece in Thessaloniki, Greece, for Community+, a long-term European Solidarity Corps volunteering experience focused on youth empowerment, digital skills, creativity and community engagement.
Two volunteers will become part of our Youth Center and support activities for young people through content creation, social media, photography/video, events, workshops, community projects and European youth initiatives. Volunteers will also have space to develop their own ideas and contribute to projects related to inclusion, active citizenship, sustainability and social entrepreneurship.
The experience combines practical learning, teamwork and intercultural exchange. Volunteers will receive mentoring, learning support and opportunities to develop personal and professional skills while contributing to the local community.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Volunteers will be accommodated in individual furnished room in city center of Thessaloniki, with utilities and essential equipment included. A monthly food allowance will be provided according to the European Solidarity Corps funding rules, together with the applicable pocket money. Volunteers will also receive a local public transport pass for their daily mobility in Thessaloniki. Travel to and from Greece will be supported according to ESC rules and the applicable travel distance band.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
Volunteers will receive an initial onboarding to InfinityGreece, the ESC framework, their roles and working methods. During the project, they will take part in practical training on digital media, content creation, project management, intercultural communication and non-formal education. Each volunteer will receive regular mentoring and reflection sessions, use Youthpass to document learning outcomes, and have access to online learning resources and internal training materials.
Teilnehmerprofil
We are looking for motivated young people aged 18–30 who are interested in youth work, digital media, communication, creativity and community engagement. No previous professional experience is required; motivation, openness to learning, teamwork and initiative are more important. The opportunity particularly welcomes young people with fewer opportunities, including those facing economic or social barriers. Basic English and willingness to live in Thessaloniki for the full volunteering period are expected.
