PROJECT OBJECTIVES

- To promote inclusion, diversity and solidarity through individual volunteering and inclusive activities with young people in the local community.

- To improve young people’s employability by developing job search and digital skills and exploring entrepreneurial ideas.

- To raise awareness of environmental protection, sustainable development and climate change, while developing civic, ecological and social competences.

What makes this project distinctive: Volunteers will listen to young people’s needs and work with them to shape and test solutions in these three areas.

Participant profile

VOLUNTEER PROFILE

  • Aged 18–30 at the start of the volunteering activity;
  • Legally residing in an eligible country and registered on the European Solidarity Corps Portal;
  • Available for a 12-month volunteering activity in Romania;
  • Motivated to work with young people, including those with fewer opportunities;
  • Interested in at least one project theme: social inclusion, employability and entrepreneurship, or environmental protection;
  • Willing to learn, work in an intercultural team and take part in community activities;
  • Able to communicate in English sufficiently to work with the international team and participate in project activities. No language certificate is required.

SELECTION PROCESS

1. Candidates submit a Europass CV and complete the short application questionnaire.

2. Shortlisted candidates take part in an online interview in English.

3. Selection is based on motivation, interest in the project, willingness to work with young people, availability for 12 months and ability to communicate in English.

4. Selected candidates provide the documents needed to confirm eligibility and prepare their mobility.

Candidates must be registered on the European Solidarity Corps
