Join Project Yatra, a 16-day European Solidarity Corps team volunteering activity from 7 to 22 November 2026 in Tetouan and Martil, Morocco.
Together with other young volunteers, you support local community initiatives and work side by side with local youth and residents. The activities focus on solidarity, intercultural exchange and personal growth.
During the whole activity you are guided by our experienced coaches and mentors, using the Yatra method. Each day combines volunteering work with reflection, so you learn about yourself, the group and the local community.
Before departure you take part in an online introduction and preparation session.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
You stay in shared rooms (2 to 6 participants per room) with mattresses, blankets and pillows. Shared bathrooms are available in line with local facilities. There is no laundry or internet on site, but there are options nearby.
You receive three meals per day or a daily meal allowance. Tap water is drinkable, so bottled water is not provided.
You arrange your own travel to and from the activity venue in Tetouan/Martil. Your travel costs are reimbursed according to the European Solidarity Corps rules. Keep all tickets and receipts.
Formação durante a atividade
Before departure: an online introduction and preparation session.
On arrival: an orientation on the programme, safety and local culture.
During the activity: daily reflection moments with your coach, and a final evaluation where you look back on what you learned for your Youthpass certificate.
Perfil do participante
We welcome young people aged 18 to 30 who are motivated, open-minded and ready to work in a team. You enjoy hands-on work and are curious about other cultures. No previous experience is needed. Basic English is helpful but not required.
Young people with fewer opportunities are especially welcome.
