The power of together

Ambassador of European Citizenship - Citoyenneté européenne, dialogue interculturel et initiatives jeunes

Club pour l' UNESCO Jean LAURAIN- Metz

Metz, France

Description

Join us in Metz, France, to promote European citizenship, intercultural dialogue and youth engagement! As a volunteer, you’ll organize creative events like eloquence and writing contests, interactive stands at festivals, language cafés, and cultural workshops. You'll support youth exchanges and help create videos, podcasts, and social media content about European values and young voices. You’ll also be encouraged to develop your own initiative with the support of our team. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn about European programs, and contribute to building a more inclusive and democratic Europe.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation will be provided. The volunteer will receive a monthly bus ticket, as well as pocket money and food allowance.

Training during the activity

During the volunteering period, the volunteer will participate in two national-level trainings: an on-arrival training and a mid-term reflection seminar. These sessions will help the volunteer engage with their experience, reflect on their progress, and develop new skills. Additionally, other training opportunities will be available to further support the volunteer’s learning and personal growth.

Participant profile

We’re looking for a motivated young person who is curious about European topics, enjoys working with others, and wants to make a difference. No specific diploma or experience is required. If you like organizing events, creating content (videos, articles, social media), exchanging ideas with other young people, or exploring different cultures, this mission is for you! An interest in citizenship, communication, or intercultural dialogue is a plus. You should be open-minded, creative, and ready to take initiative. Basic knowledge of French or English is useful but not mandatory, what matters most is your motivation and willingness to learn. This project is open to all young people aged 18–30 from EU and partner countries.
