We invite you to volunteer at DUKU, where we provide children with social and educational support through after-school activities, creative and educational workshops, outdoor activities, excursions, trips, camps and other leisure activities. Our work focuses on creating a safe and structured environment where children can develop everyday skills, learn to work in a group, resolve conflicts, ask for and offer help, and build confidence and a sense of responsibility. An important part of our work is building trusting relationships with children who may face difficulties socializing or trusting others. We also focus on learning through experience, encouraging children to explore, try new things and learn through shared activities. Volunteers contribute to this process by supporting children in their daily activities and bringing their own ideas, interests and initiatives
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Volunteers would live in a flats with other volunteers together. Everyone here has a separate room but shared kitchen and showers
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
Volunteers will get on arrival and mid term training organized by national agency. Also organize monthly meetings for volunteers
Teilnehmerprofil
Looking for someone who likes to spend time with children, value the time being in the process of it. Especially we appreciate volunteers creativity and motivation
